Victor, the vampire elder, has raised Lucian since he was an infant to create a Lycan army to protect the vampires during day hours and work as laborers during the night. Lucian and Victor’s daughter Sonja fall in love, and Sonja helps Lucian escape, who in turn flees with all the enslaved Lycans.

Knowing of Sonja’s betrayal, Victor imprisons her, and when Lucian comes to rescue her, he is imprisoned. In desperation, Sonja reveals to her father that she is pregnant with Lucian’s baby, hoping her father will show mercy, but Victor is disgusted.

The high council sentences Sonja to die, and she is executed by being exposed to sunlight. Lucian, in grief, calls out to his brethren who attack the castle. Victor is severely wounded and thrown out while many vampires die.

The remaining vampires and Victor flee in a boat, and the Lycans take over the castle, ensuing an ongoing conflict between the races making it one of the best werewolf movies on Netflix.

A trio of feral vampires has been hunting around the town and causing discomfort to the Cullen family as they are against human hunting. James, a tracker vampire from the trio, becomes obsessed with hunting Bella and lures her into a trap.

The Cullens rescue her and, in the process, kill James. Bella and Edward attend the school dance together as a couple of unaware of the presence of Victoria, James’s lover, who is planning to avenge the death of her mate.

When William and his creations cannot be controlled, Markus changes Victor and his army into vampires to capture and control them. Victor imprisons William in a secret chamber built by Selene’s family. Victor kills Selene’s family and raises her as a vampire who has the location of Williams prison hardwired in her DNA.
