Series Synopsis
It is a fantasy, mythical movie for viewers based on a Taiwanese novel, The Magician on the Skywalk written by Wu Ming-Yi.
In the year 1985, a fourth-grade school student, Xiao Budian, the youngest son of a leather shoe shop owner and being himself a street vendor, bumps into a mysterious magician in a Chinese shopping mall where his father’s shop is located.
Inspired by the magician’s mesmerizing skills and tricks, the young lad brought himself magic props for daily practice. Meanwhile, the magician inspired many teenagers at the mall with his skills. He owns a cornucopia and a striking zebra which emits different colorful lights.
Xiao Budian and eight other kids who also live in the Chinese mall took a keen interest in magicians’ mind-capturing tricks, which led the whole movie on a magical journey. These kids get magical powers that let them control and transform their lives with magic.
